Who we are

Every Woman’s Bible Study is composed of women from many different backgrounds and churches. It is our desire to complement the local church, not compete with her. We recognize that the Lord has appointed the local church to be an important channel of ministry. Therefore, it is our goal to encourage EWBS participants to actively support their local churches. As we grow in faith and knowledge of God’s Word, we become better equipped to serve the Lord in our own individual congregations and communities.

Let us introduce you to our Leadership Team:

Teaching Director:  Valerie Logan
“As I have walked with the Lord and grown in His grace,  I have come to understand that the most important thing in a believer’s life is their own individual ‘perception’ of God. How one perceives Who He is, what He is like, and how He moves, will be the guiding light for every motive and action in one’s life.  Because of this understanding, as we study His Word, it is my desire for us to be continually transformed by the renewing of our minds. ‘For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.’ Proverbs 23:7”
Senior Core Leader/Assistant Teaching Director:  Betsy Daniel
“Studying God’s Word with other women from all denominations and walks of life has been the most rewarding and fulfilling thing I have done since I first trusted Jesus as my Savior. Hearing God speak through the pages of His Word has forever changed my life. It is my heart’s desire to see women from this community come together, laying all our differences aside to focus on God’s Word to us so that we may truly enjoy the abundant life His Son died to give us.”
Hospitality Leader: Pam Massey
“When we know the love of Christ, we know that nothing can ever change it. There is no circumstance, problem, or need that can ever change God’s love or what His love has done. God in His wisdom knew we would not figure Him out or come to know Him through earthly intelligence. Instead, He determined to use the message of His love on a cross to bring us into a relationship with Him. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
What a joy and huge blessing it is to be able to fellowship and share the love of our Lord each Thursday in bible study. The friendships we make are truly eternal!”
Prayer Leader: Micah Miller
Matthew 18: 18-20
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

I believe the privilege and responsibility we have as Believers to come boldly to the Lord and make our requests known to Him, is such a key part of bringing to pass “on earth as it is in heaven”, as Jesus taught us to pray

My heart is to see the Bride of Christ rise up and utilize the power we have through Holy Spirit in prayer to be instrumental in setting people free and healing them body, mind, and spirit. We, the Church, have the honor and joy of taking prayer into our community, where person by person, we can participate in changing lives with the great love of The Father in prayer.

Community Event Coordinator: Barbara Garrison
“It has been an outstanding blessing to have been a part of this Bible study since its second year. The revelations I have received from the Scriptures during these nine years have been such a large part of my growth as a Christian. My desire is for every woman to have an opportunity to have a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, to have a 24/7 walk with Him , to allow the Holy Spirit to be my full-time companion and to share all this with my sisters in Christ.”
Children’s Director: Dee McCormack
“During the past 10 years my understanding of God’s Word and His heart for His children has increased tremendously through this study. It is my desire to share some of this knowledge and my love for the Lord with our children. Our studies will be led by and filled by the Holy Spirit, as He prompts us as to which path He would have us take. We look forward to great things for the children as we follow His lead.”
