Bible study

We have had amazing study time the past few years! We have journeyed together through the Word gleaning and partaking of just what it means to be a believer, a disciple of Jesus. We have deepened our relationships with one another and found ourselves in awe at the powerful changes God performed through the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who believed in Jesus, and also those who didn’t yet know Him. We have all been challenged to a life led by the Holy Spirit, Who reveals to us who we are in Christ. We also have a deeper understanding of the person of the Holy Spirit; the One who gives us the power to overcome life’s circumstances and daily temptations. His Spirit has created a bond of unity amongst us that no man could orchestrate!!

We believe each one that has been a part of EWBS could say that she has received fresh revelation of who God is and His love for her and toward her. However, we can also confess that there remains such a hunger to be continually enlightened which causes us to press on to know more of Him and His ways. Without revelation from Him, we can only know about Him, and His desire is for us to know and experience Him personally!

As we begin our study in the Book of Hebrews, it is our prayer that a greater understanding of Truth would enlighten us to comprehend just what the writer of the epistle means by a ‘Better Covenant’. As the Jewish believers were being encouraged to stand fast in their faith in the midst of persecution, we too should grasp the superiority of Jesus Christ over the Old Covenant that will produce a walk of faith that is superior!  Come join us as we seek a call to steadfast enduring faith!!
